Library- Bookmobile Open House

Thank you to the Molalla City Manager and the City Council for purchasing our bookmobile!

What it is:

• 24' foot Sprinter van
• holding bits and pieces of our collection to encourage people to come to the library and/or utilize our online services.

Its purpose:

• providing services to underserved areas including access to materials, assisting with education, and providing information
• only 1/4 of people within the library’s service area have cards, the bookmobile’s goal is to reach more people
• provide outreach opportunities such as going to schools, day care and elder care facilities, City events, and other events where the Library's presence will add to the event and increase awareness of our services.

STOPS

• Colton Lutheran Church: Every 1st Monday of the month  at 10:00am - 12:00pm
• Molalla Adult Center: Every 1st Friday of the month at 12:30pm -1:30pm
