PUBLIC NOTICE: Community Hearing for CHTC - Postponed Until Further Notice Due to Public Health Concerns Over COVID-19

Columbia Hemp Trading Company opened a processing facility in Molalla August 2019 at 410 Industrial Way.  In response to numerous complaints about odors coming from the industrial hemp processor's property, the City of Molalla will hold a hearing open to the public on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 6:00pm.  It will be held in the Molalla High School Library, located at 357 Frances St.  The hearing will allow the Court to consider if the "premises or substances are in such a state as to cause an offensive odor (Molalla Municipal Code Section 8.05.030)".  The public is invited to offer comments and testimony at the hearing.
