Project Advisory Committee (PAC) to the Water Master Plan Project

Tuesday, January 28, 2020 - 6:30pmThe City of Molalla is updating its Water Master Plan and is looking for individuals interested in participating on its Project Advisory Committee (PAC).
PAC members are appointed by the Mayor and City Council to represent interests within the community, review technical documents and make policy and project recommendations to the project team. To qualify for the PAC you must be a resident of Molalla, property owner within the City limits, property owner within the Urban Growth Boundary, business owner within the City, or representative of an organization or interest group based within the City of Molalla.
At a minimum, we are looking for at least one representative for residential property owners, one representative for commercial property owners, and one representative for industrial property owners. More than one representative from these categories may be appointed by the governing body. We are also looking for parties interested in pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicle related needs within the community. There will be at least four (4) evening PAC meetings held over the next year to hear comments from the public and provide comments to the project team.
This master plan will determine the water needs for the next 20+ years in the City of Molalla. We encourage members of the community who can participate to complete the application and submit it to Gerald Fisher, Public Works Director. Appointments to the committee will be made by the Mayor and City Council at the next available City Council meeting.
