City Council Vacancy - Application for Appointment 2025
Are you interested in serving on the Molalla City Council?
Applications to the Molalla City Council are being considered now through August 15, 2025. The term for this position expires on December 31, 2026.
- Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Wednesday's of each month, unless otherwise determined by City Council.
- Meetings often begin with a Work Session at 6:00pm, followed by the regular City Council meeting at 7:00pm. The average adjournment time is 8:30-9:00pm.
- As an appointed official, you are required to fill out a Statement of Economic Interest on or before April 15th of each calendar year.
- Applicants must be a Molalla resident for a minimum of 12 months prior to application. (In City limits.)
- Applicants must be 18 years old or older and a registered voter.
- A background check form is required with each application.
