PRESS RELEASE: Molalla Community HomeSafe Program

Greetings Community,

The Molalla Police Department, the Molalla Fire Department and the Molalla Adult Center want to call your attention to an exciting new joint venture in our community designed to help potentially vulnerable Molalla residents and it is absolutely free.  The Program is called the Molalla Community HomeSafe Program.

The program is designed to help our first responders identify persons who may be memory impaired or have a disability that may make it difficult for them to communicate who they are or where they live.  Family members or caregivers may enroll in the voluntary program by filling out an application at any of the three participating facilities and will then be provided with a specially designed bracelet containing valuable identifying information and any medical needs.

For more information regarding the Molalla Community HomeSafe Program and how it may work for you, please visit the Molalla Police Department’s website or stop by the Police Department, the Fire Department or the Adult Center.  You will also find the information on the new Police Department smart phone Mobile App called USPDhub and on our Facebook page.

Thank you in advance for your participation in this new program designed to help all of us, serve all of you.
