NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: The Molalla Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing for a Conditional Use Permit, Site Design Review, and two Adjustments to establish a new self-storage and truck rental use located on lots 3 and 4 of the Molalla Industrial Subdivision located at 545 W Main Street in Molalla, OR.

Per Chapter 17-4-2-020 of the Molalla Municipal Code (MMC) a Site Design Review is required for all new development. Per Table 17-2.2.030, the establishment of new truck rental uses require a conditional use permit in the M-1 Light Industrial zone. The applicant is applying for two adjustments (one for each lot) to modify the window transparency requirements. This is an in-person hearing. The public may attend, offer testimony, and seek information at the hearing.

Note that email is preferred. Please ensure your name and address are included in the written testimony.

Only comments on the relevant approval criteria found in MMC 17-4.2.050, MMC 17-4.4.040, and Chapter 17-4.7.030 are considered relevant evidence. Any person who fails to address the relevant approval criteria with enough detail may not be able to appeal to the City Council, Land Use Board of Appeals, or Circuit Court, as applicable, on that issue.

After the public hearing closes, the City will issue its decision. The decision will be mailed to the applicant and anyone else who submitted comments or is legally entitled to notice.

A copy of the application, all documents and evidence submitted by or on behalf of the applicant and applicable criteria are available for inspection at no cost and will be provided at a reasonable cost. A copy of the staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least five (5) days prior to the hearing. Copies shall be provided at a reasonable cost upon request.
