Utility Services: Setup, Billing & Support
Setting up utility service with the City of Molalla begins with completing a City Utility Services Application, which can be found in Supporting Documents New Account Application Residential or Commercial.
All new customers must submit a completed application to initiate utility services.
For rental properties, the Tenant and Landlord/Property Management Company both need to complete and sign the application.
Utility Rates as of July 1, 2025
Sewer
Sewer charges are a combined total of a fixed base rate plus a variable rate.
Current Rates: Base Rate: $63.46 per Equivalent Dwelling Unit (EDU). Variable Rate: $6.29 per hundred cubic feet of winter average water usage (Volume Charge).
Water
Water charges are a combination of a fixed base rate based on meter size and a variable rate based on water consumption. Calculate a Water Rate.

Storm
There is a monthly $4.93 per EDU storm drain charge on impervious surface.

Payments can be made at Molalla City Hall, Monday through Friday during working hours of 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM.
