Bookmobile

Thank you to the Molalla City Manager and the City Council for purchasing our bookmobile!

What It Is

• 24' foot Sprinter van
• Holding a selection of our collection to encourage people to come to the library and/or utilize our online services.

Its Purpose

• Providing services to underserved areas including access to materials, assisting with education, and providing information
• Only 1/4 of people within the library’s service area have cards, the bookmobile’s goal is to reach more people
• Provide outreach opportunities such as going to schools, day care and elder care facilities, City events, and other events where the Library's presence will add to the event and increase awareness of our services.

Stops

• The Greens at Ridings: Every 1st Monday of the month from 5:00-6:00pm

• Molalla Adult Center: Every 1st Friday of the month from 11:45am-12:45pm

• Love One Laundry at Brax Laundry: Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 11:30-12:30pm

• Bear Creek Apartments: Every 3rd Monday of the month from 5:00-6:00pm (except holidays)

• Big Meadow (on Meadow Dr. between Cascade Ln. and Mt. View Ln.): Every 4th Tuesday of the month between 11:30-12:30pm
