The City of Molalla adheres to State, County, and local regulations regarding Public Notices. Oregon Revised Statute Rule 199-050-0040 mandates that local governments provide notice of Public Meetings and Hearings at least 24-hours in advance. Molalla Municipal Code, Chapter 1.02.070 requires that agendas and packets are available for public viewing the Friday afternoon prior to a regular City Council meeting.

Additionally, the City follows Clackamas County's Public Notification Rules, ensuring that notices are posted at designated locations, on the:

  • Molalla City Hall Bulletin Board
  • City Website
  • Library Announcements Board
  • Local newspaper (when required)

UPDATE: PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE 2025-08 WILL BE ON SEPTEMBER 10, 2025

On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, City Council will consider an ordinance to permit fueling stations in the C-1 Central Commercial district subject to special use standards.
A copy of the draft ordinances & staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least (7) days prior to the hearing.
