City Council Goals

The Molalla Area Vision and Action Plan 2020-2030(PDF, 5MB) was adopted by Molalla City Council on January 22, 2020. Since that time, the Molalla City Council meets annually in January to set goals for each year.

The annual goals meeting was formerly known as Goal Setting but has since been renamed Strategic Planning by City Council approval.

Molalla Area Vision and Action Plan 2030 was a citizen-led blueprint for the City's future, developed over 2.5 years through extensive community engagement with nearly 1,000 participants via meetings, surveys, interviews, and events. The plan outlines vision, values, strategies, and actions for government, business, nonprofits, and individuals. Supported by the Ford Family Foundation with funding and training, the Council-facilitated process exemplifies strategic, community-driven planning.
