Molalla Planning Commission to Hold Public Hearing on Data Center Moratorium or Prohibition
While Molalla Currently lacks the infrastructure necessary to support a data center, several members of the community have expressed genuine and legitimate concerns that one may become viable in the future given the city’s many significant infrastructure upgrades currently in work.
In response to these concerns, the City Council has directed staff to begin the work necessary for a data center moratorium or prohibition.
The first step in that process is the Planning Commission Public Hearing. Come share your voice in-person or submit written testimony:

Written testimony will be received by the City of Molalla until 4:00pm the day of the hearing and should be addressed to:

Note that email is preferred. Please ensure your name and address are included in the written testimony.
A copy of the staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least five (5) days prior to the hearing. It will also be available the City’s calendar event for the Planning Commission Meeting on the Friday prior to the meeting.
