NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, the Molalla City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider VAR01-2026 for 31361 S Highway 213. The applicant plans to build the new fence five to eight feet further back from the existing fence, to increase traffic safety and visibility. Per the MMC, fences taller than 4 feet are not permitted in the front yard setback in the Commercial Zone. As such, the applicant has applied for a variance from this standard. The city will review the proposal pursuant to Division IV, Variances, of the Molalla Municipal Code (MMC).
This is an in-person hearing. The public may attend, offer testimony, and seek information at the hearing.

A copy of the staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least five (5) days prior to the hearing. It will also be available the City’s calendar event for the Planning Commission Meeting on the Friday prior to the meeting.
