The City of Molalla announces City Council positions that will expire on December 31, 2026.
The November 3, 2026, General Election ballot will feature three City Councilor Positions. Council Members with terms expiring are:
• Councilor Leota Childress
• Councilor Terry Shankle
• Councilor K.C. Bisenius (appointed following the resignation of R. Botsford)
Candidacy may be declared by any City resident who is a qualified elector (registered voter) and twelve-month resident minimum.
If you are interested, please schedule an appointment to pick up a Candidate Packet with City Recorder, Christie Teets, between the hours of 08:00AM and 04:00PM after June 3, 2026.
Candidate Information Packet contains Oregon State Election procedures for filing, accepting donations, and other campaign financing instructions. The packet also contains information from Molalla City Hall and Clackamas County Elections Office. This is information that you are required to read before beginning your campaign.
You may not begin petitioning without Election Officer approval.
All candidates must submit the following to Molalla City Hall by Tuesday, August 18, 2026, by 04:30PM
The November General Election will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
