Councilor Doug Gilmer has lived in the Molalla area his entire life, and has been a homeowner within the city limits for the past 30 years. Raised on a farm in Yoder, he attended Rural Dell and graduated from Molalla High School. All five of his adult children were born and raised in Molalla, making this community an integral part of his life.
With nearly 40 years of experience in the Concrete and Construction industry, Doug has worked his way up from entry-level positions to the role of General Manager. Over the course of his career, he has developed strong skills in leadership, budgeting, planning, audits, and contract management, which he brings to his work as a councilor.
