Council President Eric Vermillion was appointed to the Molalla City Council in January 2022 and was elected to his first full term in November 2024.
Eric is married to his high school sweetheart, Wendy, whom he met in Sweet Home, Oregon, where they both grew up. Together, they have five children and seven grandchildren, ranging in age from 3 to 13 years old. The Vermillion's also share their home with two beloved pets: Raj, a Yorkie, and Banjo, a Beagle. They built their home in Molalla in 2006 and have been proud members of the community ever since, enjoying all that Molalla has to offer.
