Every Tuesday during Summer Reading at 11am at the library

Join us for an hour of dedicated reading time every week during summer reading! Not sure what to read? Get recommendations from Librarians Tabby and Madeline!

Children's Programs:

• June 19th, 11am: Reptile Man at Clark Park

  • Join us for an exciting show to learn more about reptiles, and stay after the show to interact with them!

• June 26th, 11am: Field Day! at Fox Park

  • Join us to play your favorite outdoor games!

• July 3rd, 11am: Science Circus! at Fox Park

  • Rhys Thomas of Jugglemania returns to Molalla with his STEM based comedy show to show you the physics behind his tricks!

• July 10th, 11am: Level-Up Crafting! at 11am at the Library

  • Makes crafts inspired by your favorite video games!

• July 17th, 11am: Baby and Toddler Sign Language at the Library

  • A fun-filled hour of sign language and play for babies and tots ages 0-3 (and their parents and caregivers). We will read and sing, weaving sign language throughout and explaining the ways to use sign language with your little ones!

• July 24th, 11am: MNCH’s Power Play for the Planet! at Fox Park

  • Play games, solve puzzles, and tackle wacky challenges. The whole family will enjoy exploring our planet, designing solutions for the environment, and imagining a brighter future. Let’s do this!

• August 1st, 11am: End of Summer Reading Party! at Fox Park (All Ages!)

  • Celebrate the end of summer reading with some delicious Kona Ice, a goat petting zoo, tie-dye, and more!

Teen Programs in the library (ages 10-18 only):

• June 18th, 11am: Neverwinter Summer Party!

  • Kick off summer with D&D-inspired merriment! Drink mocktails, create bracelets of friendship, and make bags of holding!

• June 25th, 11am: Quilling Mythical Creatures!

  • Learn how to curl paper to make art! Pick from a variety of templates, including unicorns and Dragons.

• July 2nd, 11am: Design Your Own Map!

  • Become a cartographer! Use rice, stencils, & other tools to design a fantasy land!

• July 9th, 11am: Paint a Ceramic Gnome!

  • Decorate your own ceramic gnome! pick out a gnome and choose your colors!

• July 16th, 11am: Bedazzle a Mushroom Coaster!

  • Learn how to paint with plastic diamonds! Decorate a coaster with mushrooms on it!

• July 23rd, 11am: Make a Mini Fantasy Diorama!

  • Put together a miniature fantasy diorama inside a compact mirror!

• July 30th, 11am: Create Dragon Eye Pins!

  • Customize glass dragon eyes with paint and then pin them to your Bag or clothes.
