Notice of Public hearing: On Wednesday, January 7, 2026, the Molalla Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing for a Conditional Use Permit establish a new car sales use at 709 W Main ST in Molalla, OR. Per Table 17-2.2.030 of the Molalla Municipal Code (MMC), the establishment of new car sales uses require a conditional use permit in the C-2 general commercial zone.

 


Background

On Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, the Molalla Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing for a Conditional Use Permit establish a new car sales use at 709 W Main ST in Molalla, OR. Per Table 17-2.2.030 of the Molalla Municipal Code (MMC), the establishment of new car sales uses require a conditional use permit in the C-2 general commercial zone.

  • Location: Molalla Civic Center, 315 Kennel Ave, Molalla, OR 97038
    In-person hearing. The public may attend, offer testimony, and seek information at the hearing.

Written testimony will be received by the City of Molalla until the day of the hearing and should be addressed or emailed to:

Please ensure your name and address are included in written testimony(PDF, 81KB).
Only comments on the relevant approval criteria found in MMC 17-4.4.040 are considered relevant evidence. Any person who fails to address the relevant approval criteria with enough detail may not be able to appeal to the City Council, Land Use Board of Appeals, or Circuit Court, as applicable, on that issue.

After the public hearing closes, the City will issue its decision. The decision will be mailed to the applicant and anyone else who submitted comments or is legally entitled to notice.

Note: A copy of the application, all documents and evidence submitted by or on behalf of the applicant and applicable criteria are available for inspection at no cost and will be provided at a reasonable cost. A copy of the staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven (7) days prior to the hearing. Copies shall be provided at a reasonable cost upon request.
