A recent scamming effort has targeted applicants to city land use decisions, infrastructure projects, and other city business with illegitimate fee collection requests. Be wary of fee requests in excess of what Molalla City Staff has conveyed to you and reach out to our staff directly if you receive any payment requests that look suspicious. The City will NEVER request a wire payment.
PUBLIC NOTICE: On December 10, 2025, City Council voted unanimously to adopt Ordinance No. 2025-12: Amending Molalla Municipal Code, Chapter 2.04.010 City Council Meetings. Regular City Council meetings will start at 6:00pm beginning on January 14, 2026.

In addition to your application, additional requirements are as follows:
Delinquent Accounts: An account not paid becomes delinquent on the 16th day of each month and a Delinquent (shutoff) Notice is mailed to the account holder. Accounts that have service terminated must be paid in full plus a $50.00 Reconnection Fee to have service restored. Important: For delinquent rental property accounts, landlords/property managers are also notified of non-payment.
Paying your utility bill is quick and convenient. Choose the option that works best for you.
Online payments are available through , the City's secure third-party payment processor. There is no fee to use this service. You will need your utility account number to make a payment or create an online account.
Residents may use Guest Checkout for a one-time payment or create an account to manage payments online, enroll in paperless billing, sign up for Auto Pay, pay by text, and view payment history.
Auto Pay Reminder: For the best processing experience, we recommend selecting an automatic payment date after the 4th of each month to ensure proper processing.

Please contact the City should you need the water turned on or shut off at the main meter. Customers are NOT to turn on or off the water meter at any time. If a meter is damaged due to tampering, replacement costs will be the customer's responsibility. Any tampering of or unauthorized access to the water meter is subject to additional fees and fines. Meters are property of the City. City personnel must have access to meters at all times.
