Juror Information

Trial by Jury is a Cornerstone
of Our Democracy.

The Oregon and United States Constitutions protect our right to trial by jury. Jury service is one of the most important rights and responsibilities of American citizenship.

Page contains information on how Molalla Municipal Court notifies & selects its annual juror pool.

You may have been notified that you have been randomly selected to serve on the jury panel for the Molalla Municipal Court.

In Molalla Municipal Court, when a jury is required, a group of registered voters will be summoned to court. Jurors will go through a process called voir dire until all parties agree on six people to be sworn to serve for that trial. Jurors are chosen at random from an annual list provided by the Clackamas County Elections office.

You will then be expected to appear at the Molalla Municipal Court, located in the Molalla Civic Center, at the indicated date and time.

All jury trials are set for 09:00 AM.
