Strawberry Park is closed until further notice for necessary improvements. A timeline will be provided once the project outline is finalized. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we make these updates.
Molalla Municipal Code 13.04.271 - 13.04.277 - Requires all underground sprinkler systems to have a backflow prevention assembly that is to be tested annually by a state certified backflow tester. Each assembly must pass this annual test. These test results are to be sent to the Backflow Cross-Connection Specialist. If you are going to have an underground sprinkler system installed, please contact the Clackamas County Plumbing Department for permitting and inspection.
To help protect your water and the City of Molalla's water system, it is recommended to put hose bib vacuum breakers on all outside taps. Circumstances where this will help is when filling a swimming pool or hot tub. If a drop in pressure in the water system were to occur, the water in the pool could be sucked back into the system. A hose bib vacuum breaker would not allow any water to flow back up into the hose which leads to your home's taps and possibly into the main system.
It is very important for all of us to help keep our water safe.
