Beautification and Culture CPC (Community Program Committee):

Beautification and Culture CPC meetings are held the 3rd Monday of every month.

Business License Renewal Time...

Letters will be mailed out the first week of November and will be due by December 31, 2025.

If you do not receive your Business License Renewal Letter by November 18, please email adminassist@cityofmolalla.com with your business name, business license number, and current mailing address.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT & PLANNING

City of Molalla staff and members of the Beautification & Culture Community Program Committee (CPC) recently attended the Chachalu Art Show in Grand Ronde at the Chachalu Tribal Museum and Cultural Center celebrating the creativity and heritage of the Molalla Tribe and the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. We are proud to continue building relationships that honor our shared history and inspire future community projects.

WATER TREATMENT PLANT

Aquifer Storage & Recovery Study

On October 17, 2025 the City of Molalla and consultant Summit Water Resources held a kickoff meeting that signaled the beginning of an Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) Feasibility Study. This study is the next step in the progression toward identifying and implementing a secondary water source for the City of Molalla! WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT

PROJECT UPDATE

A New Wastewater Treatment Plant page has been published on the Molalla Current! Molalla’s new WWTP is at 30% construction and moving along on-time and on-budget! To learn more, follow along, and ask your questions, please visit the project page on the Molalla Current!

(in the photo): From the photo you can see the reinforcing inside one of the sequencing batch reactor cells. The way the walls are constructed the reinforcing has to be installed just right to ensure that the structure holds not only that water that will be treated in it but supports the weight of the structure itself and any attached apparatuses as well.

MOLALLA POLICE DEPARTMENT
new building

New Police Station Update

Construction of the new Police Department is continuing as expected - on time and under budget! The sidewalk and entry paths have been poured. Landscaping area's are being prepared for vegetation and boulders are in place. We are awaiting the placement of a special art project. Drive by and look at the changes, they are happening fast! Please remember to watch for workers and do not enter the site.
