Community Program Committees (CPC) are community involvement opportunities established by the Molalla City Council to foster local projects, events, and initiatives. These committees focus on areas identified in the Molalla Area Vision and Action Plan(PDF, 5MB).

In accordance with Molalla Municipal Code Chapter 2.17.010, all Community Program Committees operate under the policy direction established by the City Council. Each committee may include one City Councilor as a voting member, and a Councilor may also serve as a liaison. As new CPCs are formed, they will be listed on the City’s website.

Each Community Program Committee is dedicated to:

  • Carry out established City Council Policy.
  • Encourage greater participation and opportunities for the Molalla area.
  • Facilitate cooperation, coordination and communication among groups and individuals engaged in the community based on City Council policy direction.
  • Sponsor, facilitate or coordinate events and activities to showcase the Molalla area.
  • Encourage and promote Molalla based on Council policy direction.
  • Pursue funding sources, projects and programs to enhance the Molalla Area.
